Once again, SLUG is excited to present coverage of the Slamdance Film Festival. Running Jan. 25–31 in Park City, Utah, the festival offers new works from independent and emerging filmmakers throughout the world. Within this year’s selection of narrative features, documentaries and shorts, audiences confront betrayal and conflicting spiritual ideals in SPIRAL FARM and the complexities of obsession and death in HISTORY OF LOVE and others. See below for a selection of reviews by various SLUG writers.
Head to Slamdance’s official website for more information and screening times, and check back daily during the festival for continued coverage and reviews from SLUG.
