Brewstillery
SLUG is back for the second year in a row to roll out all the greatest beers that Utah has to offer . This year we kicked it up a notch by adding a local lineup of distilleries to the caucus, making this a paradise for lovers of the local drinking supply. To top it off, we invited out some Utah artisans to display and sell their wares as a way to help you take your mind off the endless supply of delicious liquids at your fingertips. Whether you came to dance, drink or throw some axes in a way to vent your weekly frustrations, we got you covered. For those lucky enough to attend this year’s event, you were fortunate to discover some flavors both new and old with each and every distiller and brewer bringing out the best of the best and showing the country what Utah has to offer. Despite the stereotype of Utah being a land that is dry of alcohol, we locals know that our beer and liquor scene is booming now more than ever. It may be best to keep it a secret a little while longer so we can bask in all the goodness these creative minds have to offer before the out-of-towners show up and mess with our vibe. Cheers! –Talyn Sherer
