Snowbasin Opening Weekend 11.22 – 11.25

Snowbasin opened on Thanksgiving Day with only one chair open, but that didn’t stop the 1,500-plus people from bringing in the new winter season. If you have never been to Snowbasin, you should start thinking about it. This place is the most beautiful resort you will see in Utah, from their amazing terrain and great views to the classiest lodges both on and off the hill. Also, the pocket terrain parks throughout the mid-mountain run makes ignites laps through the resort. Local Artist Night @ Garage On Beck 11.11

Every Sunday at the Garage on Beck, Duncan Phillips, local musician and son to the late folk artist Utah Phillips, hosts local artists for a few hours of live, acoustic music. On Sunday, Nov. 11 there were only four artists invited, so the show was performed in two sets. The first set was played by Cory Monn and Jim Fish, the second set we heard Morgan Snow, Jordan Yound and Duncan Phillips himself. Every show is free and open to the public. There is nothing better then listening to live music while enjoying your drink and great food from the Garage’s pretty impressive menu. Support Local!
