The Tower of Light
Self-Titled
Felte
Street: 02.04
The Tower of Light = ERAAS + The Difference Engine
The Tower of Light is a mysterious, atmospheric shoegaze project coming out of the dark catalogue that is Felte. This debut album has all of those things we like to associate with dream-inducing, cinematic doom: dark and brooding soundscapes; swirling, droning guitars; airy, repetitive vocals and drums that burst above the rising haze. It’s more lush than abrasive, more atmospheric than melodic, or even shoegaze, really—though if you’re a fan of the genre, do check this out. –Christian Schultz
