The Claudettes have produced an album that is a welcome throwback to old-swanky-time piano duels, jam-packed with soul and funk. “New Orleans Yard Sale” is where I really got feeling the beat, but from start to finish the tunes stay fresh and hit you right to where you shake to jive well. You’re gonna want a margarita and some tap shoes for this one as you jam with some powerful drums paired with the piano by duo Johnny Iguana on keys and Mike Caskey on the drums. –Brinley Froelich
