A little bit of video game effects, some shred-tastic guitar playing, frantic drumming and vocals that alternate from melodic to scream-y—voila! Baby Ghosts are born! The songs are fun, upbeat and punky—it’s the kinda music that would have the crowd jumping along in no time. The vocals are way fun, a lovely female voice typically underlined by a male harmony, and both of them are varied and creative in their execution. No complaints here—I think this album is a great introduction to the band, and I bet the live show is a blast, too.
