Local Events
The Fifth Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market Presented by Google Fiber , 2023, returned to Ogden Union Station this year larger than ever with more than 120 local artisans, craft and festival food vendors, performers, game developers and makers. Celebrating its fifth year (and second at the historic train station), the Holiday Market once again provided attendees of all ages with plenty of opportunities for fun and to find the perfect gifts to complete their holiday shopping. While adults shopped and sipped on beverages from local distilleries and breweries ( New World Distillery , Ogden Beer Company , Ogden’s Own Distillery , Proper Brewing Co . ), kids were treated to sweet treats, free photos with Santa, an Indie Game Arcade and the station’s classic car and rail museums. Performers Zaza VanDyke , Emma Lamb and Clicking with Carly and Buck took to stages both indoors and out to play acoustic sets ranging from lively folk tunes to cozy, Christmas classics. Paired with food trucks providing hot meals to keep visitors warm and craft food vendors giving the gift of baked goods, sauces, salts and more, this year’s Holiday Market had something for everyone. At a time when holiday shopping can be completed at the press of a button, it’s all the more special to see a community supporting local businesses, and our galleries of photos below are proof that Utah’s community is as happy as ever to do so.
