I create pretty much everything from scratch,” says Bruin. Whether you take home Yellow Yarrow’s botanical-infused oils or their herbal first aid kit, you know that each purchase comes guilt-free. “For plant distillation, I donate or exchange with other local efforts, such as Wasatch Community Gardens, for fresh lavender and other organically grown herbs,” she says.
