Brewstillery
SLUG Mag’s Brewstillery was blessed with a sunny blue sky and 80 degrees for nearly perfect beer-drinking weather. Brewstillery’s mission has always been to celebrate local brewers and distillers and to stimulate the local economy. At Brewstillery 2023, folks tasted offerings from over 40 brewers and distillers from every corner of Utah.
If drinking isn’t your thing, Brewstillery is still for you! An all-ages event featuring seven food trucks, 10 local artisans, games, live painting and street performers in addition to over 40 brewers and distillers, Brewstillery is a beer and spirit drinker’s dream event that had something for everyone.
When entering Brewstillery , you are immediately reminded that Utah has an impressive selection of brewers and distillers to try. The ultimate question is, are you going to start with a cocktail, taster or high-point beer?
As you exchange your money for tokens and tokens for booze, all your weekly troubles fade away. DJs Spaz ( @sincerelyspaz ), Toto ( @toto.pena ) and Woody ( @woodyslc ) kept the dance floor pumping. As patrons cruised around Brewstillery , they were pleasantly entertained with street performers and live art sponsored by The Blocks SLC . Once the drinks were flowing it was time to stop by one of the Brewstillery artisan booths to shop till you drop. Brewstillery attendees could also check out the new rentable e-bikes from GREENBike or pick-up some bubbles at the Visit Salt Lake trailer.
By late afternoon the vibes were right as people chilled in the Mark Miller Subaru lounge and munched on food from Cupbop , World’s Best Corndog , Raclette Haus , Liv Pure Acai , Sobe Eats , Shylo’s Cafe and San Diablo Churros .
Whether you won tickets from KRCL , bought a pink Planned Parenthood mug or came as a non-drinker, we hope you had a great time at SLUG Mag’s Brewstillery . A huge thank you to our sponsors who make the event possible! We hope to see you at SLUG Mag’s Brewstillery 2024!
