The first show of today was the best show of the day. The Dum Dum Girls played a mesmerizing set in the afternoon sun to a crowd of around 200. For the last song of their set, Dum Dum Girls welcomed a surprise guest onstage: the legendary Deborah Harry (Blondie). Together they played her 1979 hit, “Dreaming.” The whole band was beaming with delight—truly a unique SXSW moment for all.
