This Canadian trio—two emcees and one DJ—rapped about poutine, among other things. Their style was like early Hieroglyphics with nods to Kurtis Blow and Sugarhill Gang and they rocked the stage confidently and nerdily. Highlights include one emcee pouring beer on his head and over his ’80s dad glasses all sultry-like during an interlude with “I Wanna Know What Love Is,” and the DJ’s skilled, Macbook-free mixing.
