The 6th Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market once again brought Northern Utah’s premiere local holiday event of the season to the historic Ogden Union Stationon Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7, 2024. Featuring over 140 local artisans, vintage vendors, craft foodies, STEM exhibitors and indie game developers, this year’s Holiday Market uplifted even more local creatives than ever before.
While the vast display of unique Utah-based art gave attendees the perfect opportunity to accomplish holiday gift shopping for loved ones (and themselves), Holiday Market was so much more, with tastings of delectable locally-made treats, craft cocktails and brews courtesy of Ogden’s Own Distillery and New World Distillery, free games for the whole family to enjoy and even photo ops with Santa Claus himself. Some of Utah’s best food trucks were stationed to keep attendees jolly and full on comfort food offerings ranging from tacos, pizza and corndogs (Maize Tacos, Dang Brother Pizza and World’s Best Corndogs) to sushi and dumplings (Sushi Squad and Ama’s Momo) and even dessert options (Shiro Kuma Snow Cream).
Holiday Market ticket holders also enjoyed access to Ogden Union Station‘s galleries and museums—including the John M. Browning Firearms Museum and the Utah State Railroad Museum/Eccles Rail Center. Staying true to the holiday spirit and community-focused ethos, Holiday Market also featured a gift drive, for which attendees could bring or buy a gift to donate to Utah families in need. The 6th Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market had something for all to get into the holiday spirit, regardless of age, taste or budget. Engaging with community and supporting local art—the perfect way to get into the spirit of joy and giving—is more essential than ever, and Craft Lake City beautifully executed their mission of elevating the creative culture of the Utah arts community.
The Sixth Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market is supported in part by George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, the Stephen G. & Susan E. Denkers Family Foundation, Ogden City Arts, Visit Ogden, Utah Arts & Museums, PCTV, SLUG Magazine and KRCL.
