If you’re old like me, you probably hate all the kids at the skate park.Their attractive moms drop them off and they all wear helmets and shout”‘chout!” (short for “watch out”) at you so they can do some sort of flailfest out of the bowl. It’s annoying and I’ve heard you all complain about itwhen you’re sitting on the ledge smoking. The most annoying type of kid, however, is the one that’s actually good at skateboarding. … read more
Clifton Wallace
I first noticed Clifton Wallace similarly to how his first and former sponsor,Zumiez, noticed him when he was in sixth grade tearing up a local skatepark.Clifton now 21, was dominating the volcano on 9th and 9th in west Salt Lake, when I asked him if I could take some photos of him. The Story of Aus
It was Wednesday, December 5, 2007 when I stood dazed and confused, staring wide-eyed like a newborn child at a whole new world. One skit in particular stood out, though. It showed the cops giving the skaters a stern talking to about wasting taxpayer dollars and how they are destroying the city (particularly a wooden bench). … read more
The Truth Behind the

If you have seen the new skate video release that local Ogden and North Salt Lake kids put out titled “Touch It,” you know exactly what I’m talking about. … read more

Do you remember the episode of the Simpson’s where Bart gets a fake I.D.? Bart, Millhouse, Nelson and Martin then proceed to rent a car and drive to the World’s Fair in Louisville, Kentucky. A Brief Conversation with X Dance’s Athlete of the Year,...
Tony Hawk has been a household name in the skateboarding game since I was a little tyke. Back then, he was just the tall, lanky guy with the surfer cut in Animal Chin, but now even my parents know the “birdman.” Over the years Hawk has done it all. He has invented over a dozen
Steadyhands: An Erik Jensen Spotlight
Erik Jensen is a hard person to get in touch with, whether it’s because he’s out skating or filming, or because his phone is turned off because he lives a humble life; but when you go filming with him, it’s definitely an experience. … read more
