“I dress like everybody’s dad, but everything fits me. I haven’t filled out in the dad parts.” Fall gives Zade Womack the opportunity to bring out more staple items, such as jackets and sweaters. “I just like to look nice.”
Every month, SLUG Style features a distinct and unique member of the community and asks them why they do what they do. Exploring more than just clothing, SLUG Style is an attempt to feature the people who give Salt Lake City flavor through personality and panache.

“I dress like everybody’s dad, but everything fits me. I haven’t filled out in the dad parts.” Fall gives Zade Womack the opportunity to bring out more staple items, such as jackets and sweaters. “I just like to look nice.”
“I like to appear professional,” Womack says with a smile. “I mean, I’m not professional most of the time, but I do like to appear so.” Finding his balance between form and utilitarian purposes, SLUG says Womack does a pretty good job at owning up to what he describes as “functional/slacker/professional” style.
Keeping with minimalism, Womack’s use of accessories include only small implements; dashes here and there, like the pins adorning his jacket.
Another subtle flare in Womack’s wardrobe includes his use of patterned socks and his admitted penchant for boots. Here Womack mixes a favorite pair of Danner boots he found at The Stockist and some neon green/grey striped socks, creating a distinct pop from the rest of his look.
When Womack catches some downtime between early morning coffee brewing and late night drink mixing, he likes to kick back with some literature from his favorite local comic book store, Black Cat Comics.
Preferring the convenience of pockets over a bag, Womack keeps what he carries with him throughout his days down to a bare minimum.
